Voss is one of the adventure sports capitals of Europe! Totally surrounded by mountains, rivers and lakes, there's adventure lurking around the corner in every season.
We visited here in July 2020 and immediately fell in love with the town, deciding to move here in January 2021. We have pieced together this itinerary which we're very excited to take you on.

Itinerary
Day 1
Afternoon arrival to Voss Adventure Lodge, a cabin and corn-mill built in the 1800's right next to a waterfall where you can go for a dip.
Early evening Ylva will lead us thorugh a Hatha Yoga session followed by a BBQ dinner and relax in the hot tub which overlooks the waterfall. Dreamy.
Day 2
Sunrise Vinyasa Yoga before a hearty breakfast. We then take our Red Paddle Co 10'8 Rides up the Raundaselvi river. Kev will lead you through crystal blue water and some lovely grade 1/2 rapids taking us all the way to Vangsvatnet Lake where a lakeside picnic awaits us. After lunch we paddle further along the lake and take a short hike along the stunning Bordalsgjelet gorge.
Day 3
After an early breakfast we head back to Vangsvatnet Lake for SUP Yoga with Ylva. This will warm us up for the afternoon hike up the 1410 metres of Lørnahorgi, with a little assistance from the Voss Gondola. You then have the option of either walking back down or tandem paragliding.
Day 4
Time to test your skills on Upper Stranda, a solid Grade 2 run where we can practice, play and have some fun. If we have lots of fun, maybe we'll do it twice! Following this there is the very optional grade 3+ Lower Stranda. Only for experienced, advanced whitewater SUPers. For the rest of us we can view the biggest rapids from the riverbank and see how they get on.
After all this excitement we'll spend the evening doing some Yin Yoga & guided meditation. And of course, back in for one final starlight hot tub.
Day 5
Departure day I'm afraid. We know you won't want to leave. So make the most of your morning practicing some yoga, eating some more lovely Norwegian fare and have one last dip in the waterfall.
